By Auric. "Have one, Love it!"
I have a lot of research before I bought the Sony Digital Reader Touch Edition - Silver. Studied the Kindle, the more I read the less I liked it! (Sorry Amazon)
I feel that my books on Amazon again for inviting me, though I (think I'm old school and want to lose my stuff and my access to a computer).
I am also a fan of open architecture is what led me to Sony.
Following the advice of someone who complained of the software. I'm not sure what the XP operating system who have had, and I had absolutely no problem with what ever accidents.
has its advantages: an open architecture tons of stuff you can download for free, Sony offers free or inexpensive new book almost every month, both epub and PDF files play without problems. If you lose a book (which I deleted my desktop), can turn off the light.
Cons: The touch treatment contrast is not as high as I like. I want the bottom of a little 'white (white to fully understand the Kindle), the touch screen sometimes a bit' nervous Especially Liting hello, but if your bad credit and employees.
The dictionary is somewhat limited, I think (at least in the books I've read) that does not recognize some words. I see an update very best and most complete dictionary (although I have to pay a little 'to him) that work seamlessly with the player.
Against applies to all players, not just Sony: I'm not sure if this is the result of political editors, but levels of "e-book seems entirely arbitrary, the" supply "of the list is not too much of a out! Drives that are already priced at $ 9.99 or less, is priced $ 11.99 to $ 15, then within 5 or 10%
When you consider that your audience with a goal by Pocket 25% discount to buy a book and do not include additional publication costs (when the book became an electronic book (not Provided, printing, distribution, etc.), is the price difference is absolutely no other important publisher wants more money.
I look forward to the day when Sam and Target will start selling the books on their websites and kiosks in their stores. We hope this will be more paper books online.
