Anyone who says this printer doesn't print as good as professional print companies is doing something wrong. I compared prints from a company I order from and from this printer...NO difference! Color was great, quality was AWESOME! Ink might run out a little faster than my last printer but.. these cartridges aren't exactly big you know. I have printed about 10 or so 8X10...probably 2 dozen or more 4x6 and about 12 or so 5x7.. and I am still on my original ink cartridges. That doesn't even include all the regular printing I've done. Best investment I've made all year! Best printer I have ever owned!

Thought it was a great LIGHTNING DEAL at $105 but that was an understatement! This printer(AIO CANON PIXMA MP990 WIRELESS) is sooo easy to set up on a network! Great picture print! Included software is Sooo cool! What a delight to have a product work right out of the box - the way it was meant to be!

I purchased this model to replace my Canon MP780; it's a tank, but it's huge! The MP990 is a relatively small AIO. I may end up missing the fax capability of the MP780, but I don't use it that much. The setup is is pretty easy and the drivers work perfectly with Win7 x64, as opposed to my MP780. I am using the WiFi to connect to the network and even this is fairly simple to someone with intermediate computer skills. As for print speeds, it's relative to the size and print quality of the output. I have modified this printer so I can print CD/DVDs and the print quality is excellent. I have noticed that this unit will clean the heads constantly and this will eat up your cartridges if you print many photos. This is offset somewhat by the individual ink cartridges. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and at this price ($130), is highly recommended.

I recently purchased the Canon PIXMA MP990 after shopping my local Best Buy and other big box retailers. This printer offered much more for the price then anything I had seen locally. Set up was extremely easy. I got a little stuck on the wireless connection... phoned Canon and had it working within 5 minutes. For the price this printer is fantastic. I can't really comment on economical use but the Canon representative also taught me to print on standard to conserve ink in between my need for higher resolution images. I do print catalog pages and images for business purposes and the images/photos look great even on the standard setting. Overall I am very impressed with the features and quality of this printer. I would recommend this product as well as Canon for their impressive customer service.
