Tripod arrived very quickly nicely boxed and in its own canvas carrying bag. Action of ball head is smooth and controlled. Legs adjust easily and though not super tall, are tall enough for me. I can get the camera a little above eye level and I'm 5' 8". The reason I went for it is because it looked sturdy and folds up small enough to easily carry while hiking and it's very light. I also like the little bubble levels and degree markings on the head. The ball head weighs almost as much as the tripod, and I'm thinking of swapping that out when hiking any distance with a lighter head but the quick release plate is a little awkward to use. Otherwise, for the price, it's a great, sturdy, and functional carbon fiber tripod and for the price ($99 with free shipping) can't be beat.

Pros:
-This tripod feels just as stable as a Promaster brand that I tested in-store, and for half the cost. It's not QUITE as solid as the Promaster, especially in the quick-release adjustments, but for all intents & purposes it is just as suitable to the task.
-The upper leg foam cover is a nice touch. I makes for easy and comfortable handling.
-The tripod comes with a soft case, which I didn't know about when I ordered.
Cons:
-The center post CAN be overextended. If you do this by mistake, you will not be able to tighten the adjustment collar enough to stabilize the post. It would be better if the post had a stopper so it couldn't be extended too far.
-Not so much a con as a "why is this here", but there are two knobs to adjust the tension of the ball & socket. They appear to do the exact same thing. I thought maybe the larger knob was for overall tension and the second one was for final tightening, but it doesn't really seem suited for that purpose. Maybe it's just a redundency factor?

I'm about to take this tripod on a 2-week trip to put it through its paces. I'll update this review if my opinion changes or if there's anything to add.

I already own a Dolica AX620B but when the price of this carbon fiber tripod dropped to 75 (the bargain gods must have been smiling favorably upon me that day), the temptation was simply too great for me. I just had to have it.
To my disappointment, the Dolica CX620B104 was actually heavier than my aluminum frame Dolica AX620B. Bummer. No matter, carbon fiber is carbon fiber. At least I now have the bragging rights to owning a carbon fiber tripod ;) Besides, it's a well-made and extremely sturdy piece of equipment -- save for the ballhead.
As at least a couple of people have noted, the ballhead adjustment will drift slightly as you're tightening the screws. It can be a little frustrating to have your shot framed just right only to be rendered askew as you tighten the screws! You would have to anticipate the amount of drift and frame your shot accordingly to compensate for the drift after the screws are tightened.
One last complaint (minor): the quick release leg locks look and feel a little on the cheap side.
Now, the good news: the ballhead has a standard 3/8" base thread, so it can be easily replaced with a ballhead of your choice. I'm considering replacing it with a Manfrotto 322RC2 Joystick Head.

There you have it. All in all, I feel the CX620B104 is a good buy, even at [...], but the above are some important considerations you need to take into account before making a purchase decision.

There are a lot of things to like about this tripod, starting with the price. I was looking for a tripod that I could hike with and fit into by suitcase (I travel a lot). After one day in the field with this tripod, I found it to be a little too large and a bit too heavy for my traveling needs. I wound up getting a Benro TRCB069 - much more expensive, but considerably smaller and lighter (1.8 lbs.). As with most phographic equipment, you get what you pay for (usually)!
