This Web cam was a gift for my granddaughter. Her boyfriend left for college and she misses him so much. She borrowed my web cam, which isn't a very good one, and when I asked her how my web cam was working she hesitated; well I knew that meant it wasn't very good. I told her to shop around and she found this one and she loves it!

Nice camera and mic especially in low light. I am comparing this to the Logitech 9000. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I could not get over 7.5 fps on MAC OSX which I know it was not designed for. On Vista I could only get up to 15 fps.

We love this webcam! It was easy to set up, works great with Skype..no down side to this at all!!

Nice to have something that is not made of plastic. It is encased in an aluminum cylinder and has a quality finish. More importantly, the video image is very good. Everyone on the other end of my comunication commented on the improvement.
