It's easy and simple to use. If you have to cook by weight, this unit is awesome. You can change the scale from metric to standard, fit a lot of things on it, and it's small enough to slip into a drawer. Very good product.

I use this for counting calories and its very helpful. Things like peanut butter, its very helpful with as it is very calories dense and hard to eyeball it. Or when I am making chocolate milk, I put the milk and glass on the scale and 0 it out then squeeze exactly 35g in the cup so it is easy to get exact figures. Just two examples of the many ways you can use it.

I use this scale to keep tabs on the weight of my beloved pet rats. Many rats require medications for things such as respiratory problems, heart disease, and pain. It is critical to know their weight in order to calibrate the small dosages involved. One of my vets weighed rats in a closed metal box using a triple beam balance. This unduly frightened and stressed the rats, which made the entire exam more difficult. They didn't trust the readings I was taking at home using this little scale, so I brought it in one day and proved to them it was just as accurate. It's a great little scale.
