I Purchased this converter box with lots of aprehension seeing is how I had tried others and they didnt work, this box worked great, from the ease in set up to the excellent reception it provided for me OTA reception, Not sure how they got so much technology is such a small box, but I am completely pleased and highly recommend the Zimwell ZAT.

This is the second digital/analog converter in my household (the other one is Magnavox TB110). Zinwell ZAT-970A is much better product: better menu selections, better picture quality and what is more important, more channels which Magnavox even did not detect. The only complaint is the remote control. Cheap and small as Magnavox's. I predict it will fall apart after a few months of usage. Otherwise ZAT-970A is worth every penny.

I bought this unit after a lightning strike fried all my converter boxes. This is a very nice unit. LOVE the timer programming - one does not have to leave box on - on a specific channel to record with VCR - then turns itself off after 4 hours (default setting). Displays name of show currently on channel and what is coming up next. Also shows signal intensity and signal quality. To comment on other reviewer - remote does look a little cheap (made me hesitate before buying) doesn't feel cheap and it works just fine. A much better unit than the ones that blew up!

This is a great product. The set-up is as simple as a-b-c. The picture quality is crystal clear and I could not be more satisfied. The remote control works in perfect range as well. I decided to disconnect my cable that I have had for 10 years because the pricing is just not worth the programming. I thought it would be difficult to adjust, but the Zinwell digital to analog box is making it easy. I would recommend this name brand specifically because I ordered the Colby brand and I am not satisified with it at all and will be returning it as soon as possible.
