I HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT THE SHIPPING COMES RIGHT ON SHEDULE SINCE I SIGNED UP FOR THE AUTOMATIC REFILL THE ONLY PROBLEM THAT HAVE IS THAT I WAS TOLD THAT BY SIGNING UP FOR THE AUTOMATIC REFILL I WOULD RECEIVE A DISCOUNT. I HAVE AND AM STILL RECEIVING THE DISCOUNT BUT THE ORIGINAL PRICE WAS 15 AND CHANGE AND 2 MONTHS LATER IT IS 17.83 IT IS STILL CHEAPER THAN THE DRUGSTORE.

I've tried zantac, prevacid and prilosec. I have settled on the prilosec as it works the best and last the longest. Hope they don't hike the price eventually as I notice it's creeping up each time I refill.

For the last month, I have had some extreme discomfort at the base of my sternum (bottom of the esophagus). It's difficult to explain the feeling, but it more or less feels like severe hearburn that literally comes in waves every 20 seconds or so. Has anyone had this before?
I have done a lot of poking around online to try and figure it out, and the only thing I can come up with is that it is a peptic ulcer. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to put into a doctors visit right now, so unless it's an emergency, I have to make due with home remedies.
I have read TONS of reviews for Prilosec OTC. The most common thing I read about it is how wonderful it is at reducing stomach acid. I've also read in a lot of different medical journals that reducing stomach acid is the key to getting ulcers to heal on their own.
That being said, I decided to give Prilosec OTC a shot. I thought, worst case scenario, my symptoms come back after the 2 week period. The best case scenario is that they don't come back at all.
I don't know if I have an ulcer or not. If my pain comes back after two weeks, I will have no choice but to get it checked out. This product is simply my last resort before I take the plunge into a medical visit.
I'm on day two. While I can't say at all that the discomfort is gone, it is significantly better!!! It's nice to have some relief finally! I'm hoping that it will do what I've heard it to do in aiding the natural healing process of stomach ulcers (again if that's what is going on).
So, as it stands right now, I'm LOVING this product! Tums, rolaids, pepcid, etc. have done nothing for relief. What a lovely little pill this is! Thanks Prilosec!!!
