"A stylus that works!" 2010-10-19
By Darrel J. Conway (Tucson, AZ)
The BoxWave is a basic stylus, but it works great with an iPad. I've been using it for a week to take notes during meetings using the NoteTaker HD app, and am starting to use it with WritePad (which actually can recognize my chicken scratch quality handwriting). If you are looking for a stylus that makes your iPad work like a paper notebook, this is definitely an option I recommend you consider.

"Your new finger!" 2010-10-18
By Danna A. Mancini (Worcester, MA)
This stylus is great, far better than using your fingers. First of all, it leaves no grimmy fingerprints. Then there'sthe fact that it's much smaller than the average finger tip, allowing for smaller lines/text and more accurate positioning of your input. I'll definitely be ordering at least one more of these very well designed stylus. And one nice extra feature is the molded plastic fastener at the end of the lanyard. It snaps into the headphone jack to keep it from getting lost. Very cool!

"A must have for the iPad" 2010-10-05
By Zee (Los Angeles, CA United States)
One word the first time I used it: Wow. I debated a long time between this stylus and the Pogo stylus. I went the pogo and totally regretted my decision. Compared to the Pogo:

Pros

-Thicker stylus, making it more comfortable to write with

-Sturdy rubber tip allows for faster and more precise writing over the pogo's malleable foam tip

-Prettier

Cons

-Price

The blue color is just a touch lighter than what's depicted, but I actually like the real color better. I'm really most impressed by how fast I can write on the iPad with this stylus. There was a noticeable lag with the Pogo and it wasn't as clean looking. So despite the price, if i had to go back and make my decision over, I'd go with the BoxWave 100%.

"Strongly recommended" 2010-09-24
By B. Gilles (Palatine, IL United States)
I have used the Pogo stylus as well as fashioning my own from a bit of conductive foil and tape. At present, this is the superior option. More durable, more accurate, smoother, and much more like writing with an "analog" writing utensil than other designs. It is a bit pricey, but if you plan to take notes or draw on the iPad there is really no other good choice. I use Brushes, Penultimate and NoteTaker HD (the best of the note taking programs for the ipad) and the Boxwave stylus makes going paperless possible. Strongly recommended.

"Great design but the stylus needs to be longer" 2010-09-14
By Ava Bradach (Southern California)
The overall design of the stylus is great and it has good accuracy. I especially like the attachment feature for the iPad using the earphone connector. The one thing that disappoints me is the length of the device. It is a litte under 4 and i/2 inches long. Since I use the iPad primarily for handwritten notes, I would prefer the length of the stylus to be that of a common ink pen, about 5 and i/2 inches long. If had a little more heft to it, it would feel more natural to those of us that still like to write. The specifications on the pen were not stated in the description, I believe they should be noted by the seller.
