Plush and soft, with a sturdy plastic shell, this nightlight is best placed on the floor in the center of the room, where it projects a starry night sky onto the ceiling and walls. User-Friendly Operation
Simply pressing the button on the turtle's shell ignites the stars and keeps them glowing for a full 45 minutes--just enough time for most children to drift into sleep. At this point, the Twilight Turtle automatically shuts off to preserve battery life. Another push of the button reactivates the projection. In addition, the easy selection of the three soothing color choices allows your child not only to learn to identify different colors, but also to truly experience them as well. This turtle is very sweet. My daughter has it on in her room every night before she goes to bed. She always has to pick the color it's on and find the moon before we leave the room. It's very durable, my dughter has stood on it before. We've only changed the batteries in it once in the 12 months we've had it.
I did expect from the photo for the shell to be plush like the rest of the turtle but it's still very cute and does the trick.

We just had our baby shower and I really think this is my favorite!! The lights are just bright enough to check on baby, nurse or just use as a night light. The stars are a little blurry by the time they project to the ceiling, but it is very soothing to both myself and baby!! I would get another one in a minute!

I ordered this for my soon to be born granddaughter's nursery and I love it! I am tempted to order another to keep at my house for when she comes to visit! The amber light could be brighter, but it is a soft soothing glow even if the stars do not show up as well. I would definitley purchase again!
