This Kindle cover is reasonably sturdy, not overly heavy and seems to be made well. It has an elastic that holds it closed and open with the cover folded under which is nice - unless the elastic breaks which is what worries me as it will be way less useful then. But it does protect the Kindle fairly well and hopefully will prevent the serious damage from a minor drop that killed my Gen2 Kindle.

I bought the Kindle Wi-Fi 6" model (dark grey) and the black cover at the same time. The leather cover compliments the dark grey kindle and it feels like I'm holding a small leather book. The cover is light, I can hold the it in one had, or lay it on my lap. Excellent product!

This is a BEAUTIFUL cover--looks and feels great. It keeps the Kindle well protected. Just a warning--do NOT lift the kindle once it's attached or the hook will bend and then it's MURDER trying to remove it. Other than that, no regrets buying it :)

We gave Anna a Kindle 3 for her birthday in October. She loves it and the burgundy leather cover. The cover keeps her Kindle 3 safe from the one year old's grasp.
