It surprised me that the color was bright. The cute pink look pops out and interacts with my white kindle very well. The only so so point is that if you put the cover on it doubles the weight of you kindle. But it gives you the light which is the most important point we consider the product. After all I love it.

Took my Kindle on a flight to Victoria, Canada from California and read the whole way. Even when the cabin lights were out, the little light on my Kindle cover worked perfectly with no eye strain.
I figured the bright pink color would be easy to spot if misplaced.

My Kindle was a gift I enjoyed using immediately. However, I was concerned that it may be damaged if dropped or carried in my pocketbook. I was also disappointed that it had no backlight for reading in the dark. The lighted leather cover has been the perfect solution to all these issues. The built-in light allows me to read in bed without keeping my husband awake, it protects my Kindle wherever I put it and it provides an attractive cover. The attached elastic keeps the cover securely closed when not in use. A great product!

My new kindle cover saved my kindle on several occasions, meaning all the times I dropped it. Everything still works fine. Even after one tumble bent the lower connection, it bent right back in line with tiny pliers and works fine. I bought the orange cover because I like orange but also because it stands out and makes it harder for me to overlook it and leave it behind. I've only used the light twice in dim but not dark conditions, but it made the reading easier. I am not sure, but suspect that in close to dark conditions I would like the light to extend a teeny bit farther and cover the whole page better. Otherwise, not a complaint. This is my second kindle and this cover holds the kindle securely, far better than the cover on the original kindle. A great improvement.

Love this! The colour was just as the pictures and the light works great. $60 is a bit steep but in the end, it's worth it if it lasts.
