Kindle 3G Wireless Reading Device, Free 3G + Wi-Fi, 6" Display, Graphite, 3G Works Globally - Latest Generation   E Ink, the company behind the monochrome displays on Amazon Kindle and Sony Reader, launched its first color-screen e-book reader this week.

   Unlike LCD screens, which continue to consume energy, uses electronic ink to change the picture - but not for the show - by increasing the autonomy of a few hours to several weeks. 


 electronic ink is to attract black powder or white capsule in front of a light pixels.

   E Ink, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is divided into four each capsule contains powder subcapsular red, green, blue and black.


   The new screen is capable of displaying thousands of colors when compared to the LCD screen is blurred. "We improve our material base for color saturation," said Sriram Peruvemba E Ink engineer in New Scientist.
