I bought an Iriver Story HD (1EB07W2G)
last weekend. I am very impressed with it's high resolution, high contrast display and quick response impressed. You can read a line in a very high contrast, not a Nook or Kindle Stokes into a low-contrast vision seems gray.Some complain that the stiffness of the keyboard. I like the construction of the keyboard, click a firm and final. They feel safe in any key.
I especially like the ability to handle PDF files. You can create PDF files with text reflow or continuous zoom to see images without the text between the lines. Iriver Story HD (1EB07W2G) also supports HD in landscape mode to read the PDF file is easy, often with no extension.
Iriver Story HD will allow users of text or graphics in the center of the screen that makes reading PDF documents from a scanning much easier, applied in many cases, text or graphics that are not extended in the center space of the page.
In comparison, Kindle is almost useless to read PDF files, you can not increase the flow of text and some pages in a browser window discrete steps (example ,200% and 150%).
Unfortunately, Kindle changing the font size does not work for PDF files. Kindle trying to convert the function to provide the format Kindle Office documents via e-mail, but everyone knows that it is unrealistic and unnecessary.
Nook reader has no such function at all. For me, it is useful to check data and reports and presentations, open without a PC. In combination makes Iriver Story HD supporting SD-card expansion, this feature more convenient because you can use the same SD card to store documents for editing on PC and review on Iriver Story HD.
With Wi-Fi connection ,you can access Google eBook Library, but do not have access to other sites. I wish Iriver Story HD can support a limited access to the Internet, for example, mobile web pages. I think its excellent and rapid reflow view of the response text, the Iriver Story HD can read web pages a pleasant experience.
In comparison, the Kindle's web browser is useless because it fits the text and answer the screen is extremely slow. Due to the slow response on the screen and function keys Kindle response uncertainty, placing the cursor into a nightmare. In this context, the Nook touch screen much more useful of the browser. I also noticed that the default Nook's Website is a mobile version that corresponds with their skills very well.
Iriver Story HD is the ePub format support library. I think it's a feature for each e-book reader. Kindle claims it can offer to convert files into ePub Kindle. Again, it is useless, because most of the ePub file protection that makes it impossible to change.

At first I could not find the way to the entrance of the Wi-Fi will not connect to SSID broadcast. For added security, many individuals and companies do not want to hide the SSID, the user must manually enter the SSID.

Iriver Story HD would be nice if it is able to support playback of audio files, but requires a significant change in the hardware. I tried MP3 and Kindle does not disappoint. Instead, you can only listen to the music to remember the dark and not a function instead. I want the audio is useless.
EBook Reader is a gadget for your convenience, not necessity. Therefore, any desired function and specify native and intrinsic.
