Customer Review : Hands down, the best and most primary game for Kinect.: If you've played a game from Twisted Pixel before, you sort of know what you're in for here. Vibrant colors and animations, humor, and a well made game. The Gunstringer is their first game to use the Kinect, and maybe the first real Kinect "game" period. Gameplay is primarily performed using one hand to move The Gunstringer left and right, lifting your hand to accomplish jumps (as though you yourself are controlling his strings), and your right hand is used for aiming and firing your weapon. The game changes things up frequently, so sometimes you'll be doing some side scrolling platform action, cover-based shooting, using both of your arms to dual-wield pistols, and there's even the occasional fist fight mini-game. If I had any issues with the game, it would be with the Kinect itself. There were a few points in the game that required subtle, but exact movements to maneuver Gunstringer safely straight through a course. The Kinect has a exiguous delay in recognizing your movements, and as a result, I often found myself overcompensating by provocative too much and ended up hitting obstacles. It is such a minor issue, however. The game is very forgiving. Despite hitting a few rough patches on my first playthrough, I never de facto thoroughly depleted my health. If you have a Kinect, and are finding for a fun game to play, I can not stress The Gunstringer enough. Especially if you have not yet played Fruit Ninja for Kinect. Currently included in each copy of The Gunstringer is a code voucher for Fruit Ninja, which is a $10 value itself. There is just so much fun to be had with this game. If you only buy one Kinect game, let it be The Gunstringer. You will not be disappointed. Read more.
